Obituary of Amelia Alvarado

Amelia Alvarado, 79, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, in Harlingen, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Alvarado and Josefa Meza; and her siblings, Jose Isabel Alvarado, Josefa Rodriguez, Consuelo Ramirez, Juanita Lopez, and Olga Rios as well as her favorite niece, Yolanda Roa.

Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Antonio Alvarado and Arturo Alvarado; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at St. Theresa Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Julian Roa, Arnold Ramirez, Pernal Keener, Aaron O’valle, Adam O’valle, and Leo Barrera.
