Obituary of Ninfa M. Zamora

Ninfa M. Zamora, 85, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019, in Harlingen, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo S. Zamora; her grandson, Isaias Mata Jr.; parents, Ezequio Mata Reyes and Ma. Dulces Nombres Rodriguez De Mata; and her siblings, Arnulfo Mata, Demetrio Mata, Pedro Mata, Ramon Mata, Rogelio Mata, and Virginia (Emenejildo†) Andrade.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Maria M. (Placido) Rivas, Isaias (Irma) Mata, Adam (Isabel) Flores, and Nynfa (Sheldon†) Baroff; 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; and her siblings, Ezequio (Lencha†) Mata, Carlota (Pablo†) Marquez, Felicitas (Matias) Navarro, Victoria (Carlos) Lozano, and Ma. Leocadia (Juan) Salazar.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, February 5, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St., Port Isabel, Texas.

Viewing will continue Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a funeral mass to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church with interment to follow at Port Isabel Cemetery in Port Isabel, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Ashley Ann Zurita, Zackary David Zurita, Juan Merced Cantu Jr., Arnulfo Mata, Ezequiel Mata, and Isaias Mata.
