Obituary of Jason Matthew Bell
In the early hours of Friday morning, January 25, 2019, Jason Matthew Bell, of Port Aransas, Texas, succumbed to fatal injuries he suffered from a motorcycle accident. He passed away at the age of 39.
Jason was born September 10, 1979, in Zweibrucken, Germany, as his parents were stationed there during his father's enlistment in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a loving, devoted and generous father, brother, uncle, beloved nephew, and friend.
Having joined the United States Army at the age of 17, he served 10 years of active duty as a gunner, aboard Black Hawks, where his exceptional Marksmanship earned him the prestigious roll of Crew Chief. After having spent several deployments in various countries, he then went on to work for a privately contracted military organization, that works closely with the DEA to exterminate Narco Terrorists in Afghanistan.
When on leave from his professional commitments, he enjoyed BBQ-ing and camping trips with family and friends. His greatest passion was spending time with his children.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Garland and Alberta Bell of Newman, CA. His parents, Jeffrey Omar Bell of San Francisco, CA and Melinda Kay (Parker-Bell) Espana of Sutter Creek, CA.
He is survived by his children Cole and Emmy Bell, along with their mother, Kristen Stratton of Corpus Christi, TX. His son Jason James Bell and his Mother Geni Lee Bell, his sister Laura Lopez of Ceres, CA, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
He will most likely be remembered for not only his generosity but his unparalleled sense of humor!
