Obituary of Miguel Garza

Miguel “Mike” Garza, 76, of Rio Hondo, Texas passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018, in Edinburg, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Adela Martinez Martinez.

Left to cherish his memory is his common law wife, Florentina Garza; children, Jose Angel(Angelica) Garza, Adela Berenice (Carlos) Turrobiates, Miguel Garza Martinez, Elsa (Pedro) Longoria, and Reyna (Alfonso) Ramirez; as well as 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

Visitation will begin Thursday, January 3, 2019,  from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2018, at St. Helen Catholic Church with interment to follow at Rio Hondo City Cemetery in Rio Hondo, Texas.
