Obituary of Juan Meza

Juan Meza, 83, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018. He was a loving father, grandpa, and father-in-law. Juan was also the #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Olivia Meza; and parents, Benardo and Maria Ester Meza.

Juan is survived by his children, Patricia (George) Gonzalez, Roberto (Jessica) Meza, Adriana (Fernando) Falcon, and Melinda (Jacinto) Flores; 7 grandchildren, Joshua Falcon, Sarah Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Erin Falcon, Diana Meza, Gabrielle Flores, and John Isaac Flores; sister, Teresa De la Cruz; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018, at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Joseph Garcia, Joshua Falcon, Roberto Meza, George Gonzalez, Jacinto Flores, and Fernando Falcon.

Honorary pallbearer will be John Isaac Flores.
