Obituary of Christina Marie Carrizales

Christina Marie Carrizales, 30, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018.

She was a devoted wife and mother and loved her children dearly. Her smile lit up a room, and she will be missed and forever in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Reynaldo Carrizales; maternal grandmother, Maria Dolores Soria; paternal grandparents, Santos and Hortencia Herrera; grandparents-in-law, Luis and Maria Benavides; aunt, Ofelia Martinez; uncles, Santos Herrera Jr. and Homero Herrera; and cousin, Ricardo Castillo Jr.

Christina is survived by her husband, Reynaldo Carrizales III; 3 children, Ricardo Job Salinas, Lola Reyanne Carrizales and Reynaldo Carrizales IV; parents, Jose Ofidio and Herminia Herrera; siblings, Candie (Moises Serdan) Herrera, Joey Herrera, Claudia (Sam Leal IV) Herrera, and Jonathan Ray Herrera; parents-in-law, Reynaldo Jr. and Candi B. Carrizales; brothers-in-law, Aaron (Britney) Carrizales and CJ (Blanche Trevino) Carrizales; and sister-in-law, Harlie Rae Carrizales, as well as great grandmother Andrea V. Carrizales.

Visitation will begin Thursday, September 13, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito,Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Interment will follow to Las Yescas Cemetery in Las Yescas, Texas.
