Obituary of Aniceto Lara Jr.

In Loving Memory of Aniceto “Andy” Lara Jr. (age 61) of San Benito, Texas.  He was born on January 3, 1957 and was called home to be with our Lord on September 11, 2018 in his home and surrounded by his loving family. 

Our “Paco”, as he liked to be called by his grandchildren, loved to BBQ, listen to music and dance. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle every chance he got. His love for God & his Christian faith was strong and unfailing throughout his life.

Andy will be remembered as wonderful and caring father and grandfather, who will always be loved, missed and cherished. He is survived by SanJuanita Lara Valles, Johnny (Doris) Garza Jr.,  Maria Guadalupe Lara, Amanda Nicole Lara (Jeremie Castaneda)  & Andrew Aaron (Yvonne) Lara; 11 grandchildren; his brother, Salomon (Sara) Lara.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Noemi Ochoa Lara; and sister, Ester Lara.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of MedTeam Inc. of Brownsville for their excellent care and compassion.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, September 12, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
