Obituary of Pedro Garcia

Pedro Garcia, 95, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Harlingen, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Clemencia Mares Garcia; father, Juan Noriega Garza; his first wife, Maria V. Garcia; and his companion wife of 41 years, Ninfa Salas; his daughter, Celia Garcia; brothers, Uvence Garcia and Guadalupe Garcia; and his sister Maria Garcia.

Pedro is survived by his loving children, Juan Garcia, Francisca Morales, Otilia Garza, Irma Acosta, Clemencia Gonzales, Gloria Garcia, Luis Garcia, Pedro Garcia Jr., David Garcia, and Juan Sandoval; sister, Juanita Conde; 33 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018, at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Old San Benito City Cemetery in San Benito, Texas.
