Obituary of Margarito Rios Jr

Margarito Rios, Jr., 70, of Los Indios, Texas entered into rest on Thursday, August 23, 2018. He was born to Margarito Rios Sr and Maria de Jesus Yzaguirre Rios on April 30, 1948 in Carracitos, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Margarito Rios, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Felix and Maria Luisa Rios; his maternal grandparents, Luis and San Juana Yzaguirre; and father-in-law, Favian Zambrano, Sr.

Margarito is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Maria Gloria Rios; sons: Omar Rios, Margarito Rios III, and J. Julian Torres, Jr.; daughters:, Imelda (Fernando) Rocha, Natalia Martinez, and Perla Carolina (Juan) Gonzalez; his mother, Maria de Jesus Yzaguirre Rios; four brothers: Refugio, Carlos (Luz), Angel (Dela), and Frank( Avon); four sisters: Linda (Jesus),   “Mary Lou” (Juan), San Juanna (Fabian), and Anna; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his mother-in-law, Maria Cruz Zambrano.

Family will receive guests at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 until 9:00 p.m., and a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 16584 US Hwy 281 in Los Indios, Texas. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Margarito Rios III, Omar Rios, J. Julian Torres Jr., Michael Rios, Zeke Rocha, Rey David Zambrano, Juan Ruiz, and Raymond Martinez.
