Obituary of Margarita Martinez Moran

Margarita Martinez Moran, 55, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Port Isabel and a member of Abundant Life Church of Los Fresnos, Texas.

Margarita is preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Juana Rios Martinez.

She is survived by her loving husband: Feliciano Moran; her 2 loving children: Jose Angel Garcia and Esmeralda (Mauricio) Torres; 3 grandchildren: Jose Alberto Torres, Alynna Diana Torres, and Dhynnia Alexandra Picado; sister: Rosa Medrano; 3 brothers: Ramon Martinez Jr., Javier Martinez, and Lauro Martinez; and several nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow.
