Obituary of Christina Gomez

Christina Gomez, 38, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 in Harlingen, Texas.

Christina was a loving, caring, kind, and gentle person. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Anastacio Gomez, Matea Gomez, Hilario Mendoza, Romana Hernandez and Jacinto Hernandez, uncles: Guillermo Gomez, Reynaldo Hernandez, Mario Hernandez, and Gregorio Hernandez, and aunt, Maria G. Longoria.

Christina is survived by her parents; Amelia Gomez and Ricardo Gomez, one daughter; Briana Resendez, two sons; Alejandro Espinosa and Christian Gomez, three brothers; Ricardo Gomez Jr., Juan Enrique Gomez, and Guillermo Gomez, one sister; Laura Gomez and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. 

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers are; Alejandro Espinosa, Christopher Galvan, Armando Ayala, Michelle Gonzalez, Melanie Gonzalez, David Vasquez, Christopher Vasquez, and Roberto Perez.
