Obituary of Mirabel Jose Garza

Mirabel Jose Garza passed in peace Friday, April 6, 2018 at the age of 88.
He was born on March 6, 1930 in San Benito, Texas where he grew up and lived his entire life with his best friend and beloved wife Maria of 58 years. 
Mirabel was well known in the community and worked in the citrus industry for over 50 years. For all that knew him, knew that his happiness was selling fruit in front of his house and talking to everyone that came by.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Graciela G. Hernandez; brother Guadalupe Garza; sisters: Maria Rios and Margarita Machuca; and brother-in-law, Francisco Perales.
He is survived by his wife, Maria R. Garza; his granddaughter, Dannette Chambers; great-granddaughter, Vivian Grace Chambers; sister Viola Perales; and many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers: Juan M. Garza, Juan Cruz Perales, Ramon Garza, Noe Garza, Eusebio Ariola III, Ruben Garza, and Ricardo Garza, and Francisco Rios.
