Obituary of Santos Flores Villarreal

Santos Flores Villarreal, 97, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in San Benito, Texas.

Our beloved mother, Santos, was a woman of great faith.  She loved being around her family especially during the holidays or celebrating a birthday.  She became a licensed beautician at an early age and had many clientele. Her favorite pass time was watching novelas and Texas Ranger starring Chuck Norris.  Her greatest tragedy was losing her special needs child, Linda.  Everybody loved Linda.  Santos is finally home and at peace.  She is with her creator God Almighty.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Luis Villarreal, parents; Antonio and Pomposa Flores, brothers; Vicente Flores and Mauricio Flores, sisters; Felicita Robles, Dolores Rodriguez, Guadalupe Claudio and her daughter; Linda Villarreal.,

Surviving Santos are her sons; Johnny Villarreal, Apolonio (Sylvia) Villarreal, Gilbert (Patricia) Villarreal, Luis Villarreal Jr., Omar (Ida) Villarreal and Roel (Yolanda) Villarreal, grandchildren; Jamie (Rick) Johnson, Celina (Paul) Garcia, Veronica (Mike) Muniz, Alana (Tony) Ortiz, Sarah (Fouad) Aourarh, Aaron Villarreal, Tracy Villarreal, Pearl Villarreal, Omar E. Villarreal, Leandra Ruiz, Danny Villarreal, Victoria Villarreal and Gilbert (Jaime) Villarreal as well as sixteen greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Honored to be serving as pallbearers are, Omar E. Villarreal, Gilbert Villarreal, Mike Muniz, Tony Ortiz, Travis Johnson and Raul Gomez.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas
