Obituary of Carlos G. Garza

Carlos G. Garza, 49, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 in Harlingen, Texas. Carlos was known for the best barbecue’s. He was a great father, son, brother, cousin and friend, who will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Garza; sister,  Rosemary Garza.

Carlos is survived by his mother, Olga G. Garza; sister, Linda ( Adam) Zapata; four children; and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel  service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with internment to follow at San Benito Memorial Park.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Adam Zapata III, Guadalupe Zapata, Manuel Zapata, Jose Alejo, Zeke Gomez, Rogelio Martinez, Luis Garza, Jonathan Cantu and  Honorary pallbearer Adam Zapata IV.
