Obituary of Victor Daniel Anchondo

Victor Daniel Anchondo, 85, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Harlingen, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Maria Nieves Anchcondo; one grandson, Guadalupe Obregon; one brother; Jesus Viyado Anchondo Ortega; and one sister, Bersave Anchondo Ortega.

Mr. Anchondo is survived by his loving wife, Maria Elena Anchondo; children: Sandra (Hervey) Garcia, Richard (Yolanda) Salinas, Dora (Moises) Ledezma, Terry (Salvador) Reta, Ruben (Martha) Dominguez, Angelica Anchondo, and Bernie (Sylvia) Achondo; siblings: Acension Anchondo Ortega, Raquel Anchondo Ortega, Guadalupe Anchondo Ortega, and Marcelo Anchondo Ortega; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 and Friday, January 26, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Benito Memorial Park.
