Obituary of Maria De Jesus Briones

Maria de Jesus Briones, 87, of San Benito, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in San Benito, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Jose Cruz Briones, and her parents; Isabel Rodriguez and Maria Juarez Rodriguez.

Mrs. Briones is survived by her loving children; Guadalupe (Dalia) Briones, Jose Fransisco (Maria) Briones and Isabel (Roberto)  Degasperi, brother; Aurelio Rodriguez, 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday January 25, 2018 at Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Las Yescas Cemetery.
