Obituary of Tomas Rosales Abrego Jr.

Tomas Rosales Abrego Jr., 47, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Thursday January 18, 2018  in Harlingen, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Juan Abrego Sr.; Maternal grandparents, Luis Mosqueda and Maria McKay; two uncles, Antonio Abrego and Ramon Abrego as well as his cousin Jesus Ramon Abrego;

Tomas is survived by his loving wife, Maricruz Martinez Abrego, six children; Tomas Abrego III, Sabree Abrego, Layla Abrego, Jacob Abrego, Moises Martinez and Brisa Martinez, parents; Tomas and Lydia Abrego; His In laws; Arturo and Sofia Martinez; brother; Lewis (Rosy) Abrego; two sisters, Melinda Hill and Yolanda Abrego; paternal grandmother, Rosa Rosales Abrego, as well as numerous relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. with Prayer Services at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Chapel service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at Abrego Cemetery in El Ranchito, Texas.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers are, Albert Abrego, Carlos Abrego, Roberto Abrego Jr., Aaron Rodriguez, Joe Torres and Ricardo Zavala
