Obituary of Jorge Luis Benavidez

Jorge Luis Benavidez, 60, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Fermin and Isabel Benavidez Sr., sister; Irma Benavidez as well as niece Casandra Benavidez.

Jorge is survived by his siblings; Ester Benavidez, Juan (Janie) Benavidez Sr., Fermin (Yolanda) Benavidez Jr., Andy Benavidez, Romeo (Diana) Benavidez, Jose Manuel Benavidez and Rene (Rose Mary) Benavidez as well as numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.

Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Michael Benavidez, Robert Benavidez, Jerry Benavidez, Lee Roy Benavidez, Victor Benavidez and Juan E. Benavidez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Garcia Cemetery in San Benito, Texas.
