Obituary of Maria L. Sanchez
Maria L. Sanchez, 79, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her son Felix Leija Sanchez.
Surviving her are Maria’s children: Ignacia Sanchez, Alicia Mireles, Maria Guadalupe (Jose) Dominguez, Enelida (Eligio) Gonzalez, Rolando (Guadalupe) Sanchez, Rafael (Marlen) Sanchez, Rosalva Sanchez, Mario Sanchez, and Melissa (Jose) Robles; 23 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Emidio Camacho Leija.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.
