My condolences to the entire Lugo Family, and may God grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding as you traverse through this time of loss. I'm glad that I had an opportunity to visit with each of you on Thursday evening and Friday morning. I know that my Compadre Rey is resting in the arms of the Most High, and he has no more pain or illness to struggle with. These past few days have brought back many memories of things that Rey & I accomplished together in our youth and beyond. Luke 23:39-43 NIV, "One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: 'Aren't you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!' But the other criminal rebuked him. 'Don't you fear God, he said, since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.' Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.' Jesus answered him, 'Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise'."
