Obituary of Hijinio V. Moreno

Hijinio Vasques Moreno, 79, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 at his residence.

Hijinio was preceded in death by his wife, Lydia F. Moreno; his parents, Jose and Anita Moreno; one son, Jose Moreno; and two daughters: Gracie and Esmeralda Moreno.

He is survived by his three daughters: Anita Matta, Raquel Madrid, and Melida Argullin; two sons: Hijinio Moreno Jr. and Victor F. Moreno; six grandchildren;25 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Eudelia M. Caraveo, Ovilia M. Tapia, Jesus V. Moreno, Jose Moreno Jr., Ramon V. Moreno, Carlos V. Moreno.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 12 noon to 9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Anita Ranch in Los Fresnos, Texas.
