Bogata, TX - Patricia A. Reeves (Short), 47, went to be with the Lord on August 3, 2007 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. Patricia was born on March 20, 1960 to her loving parents, Maria Olga Villarreal and Rutherford Douglas. She is survived by her Husband Loren Reeves, Mother: Maria Olga Villarreal, Father: Rutherford Douglas, Siblings: Buddy and Liz Short, Rita and Antonio Hernandez, D.J. and Ramona Short, Bonnie and Ramon Claudio and Mary Alvarado. She is also survived by her precious daughters that were the light of her life: Annalisa Reeves, Essie Reeves, Loren Ann Reeves and Lyzzette Gaytan-Reeves. In addition, Patricia leaves behind 6 granddaughters and 1 grandson. She had a passion for cooking and before her death aspired to have her own restaurant. Although her life was not able to be saved, she was able to donate organs to save the lives of three other people. Visitation was held at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX on Sunday, August 5, 2007 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with cremation following thereafter.
