Obituary of Carlos Meza, Jr.

Carlos Meza, 60, of San Benito, Texas, entered life with our Lord and Savior on Saturday October 14, 2017 in Harlingen, Texas.

He was born at Dolly Vinsant Hospital in San Benito, Texas to Carlos and Virginia Meza on August 14, 1957.

Carlos was a carpenter by trade. During his free time he enjoyed fishing with his friends and family and preparing the fish fry and BBQ gatherings. He had a passion for sports with his favorite teams Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs and multiple boxing professionals. Carlos enjoyed competing in pool tournements, listening and dancing to music. Anyone around him will remember he was always humming some tune or another.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Meza; father, Carlos Bernabe Meza And mother Virginia Ramos Meza.

Carlos is survived by his three children; Karlos Meza; Cesar Meza and Daniel Meza, grandchildren; Cesar Meza Jr., Cecilia Meza and Diana Itzel Meza as well as his three siblings; Rosa M.(Ruben) Guerro, Gloria M. Garcia and Arnold Adriana) Meza

Memorial service will be held  will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home  in San Benito, Texas.
