Obituary of Saylor Shay Wilson

Saylor was born nearly a month premature, in Amarillo, TX, on September 26, 2017 at 8 PM, weighing 5 lbs. 15.5 oz. During her fleeting time, she was able to open her beautiful eyes to see that she was surrounded by loved ones, as well as appreciate the warm embrace of her loving parents.

Nine days after blessing the world with her presence, Saylor Shay Wilson passed away peacefully in her father’s arms, on October 05, 2017 at 5:58 PM at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, TX. In her final moments, she was surrounded by those who love her from both sides of the family

Saylor joins her great-grandfathers Robert A. Thompson Sr. (P), Otis Duane Gilchrest (P), Jerry L. Burch Sr. (M), Antonio Compian (M), great-grandmother Linette Wilson (P), and her cousin Dylan C. Avery (M) in heaven.

Saylor is survived by her loving mother Sarah Wilson, her father Aidan Wilson, and her big brother Sylas Andrew Wilson; as well as maternal grandparents Jessie (Steve) Vineyard, Jerry L. Burch Jr.; paternal grandparents Tami (Rusty) Black, Daniel Wilson; uncles Eric Burch, Ryan Burch, and Shiloh Wilson; great-grandmothers Jessie M. Burch, Mary Ellen Gilchrest, and Ofelia Compian; and great-grandfather Clifton Wilson.

Visitaton will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the memorial service at 12:00 noon at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home . Saylor will be interred along-side her great-grandfather Jerry L. Burch Sr, who would have loved her dearly in Donna, TX.
