Obituary of Josefina Lopez Venegas

Josefina Lopez Venegas, 66, of Lozano, Texas, passed away on September 30, 2017, at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Silvestre “Beto” Zuniga; her son, Joel “Bibi” Zuniga; her father Gonzalo Lopez; and one sister, Socorro Lopez De Zuniga.

Josefina is survived by her mother, Juana Monreal De Lopez;  two sons: Rolando (Monica) Zuniga and Pablo (Leslie) Zuniga; seven grandchildren: Lisa, Rolando, Lizette,  Owen, Jayden, Lily, and Pablo Zuniga; and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

 Funeral mass will held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at St. Vincent Catholic Church in Lozano, Texas. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
