Obituary of Adalberto G. Mata

Adalberto G. Mata, age 64, passed away on August 12, 2017. He was born on February 11, 1953 in San Benito, TX. He remained a resident of his hometown throughout his entire life.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jose L. and Arminda Mata; and 2 brothers Secundino Mata Sr. and Jose Israel Mata.
He is survived by his 4 children: Arminda Mata, Adalberto Mata Jr., Carlo Mata, and Jose Mata; 3 grandchildren: Carlie Marie Harris, Marcus Anthony Mata, and Giovanny Xesus Mata; 4 sisters: Estela Hernandez (Jesus), Elvia Castaneda (Jaime), Esther Lerma (Nicholas), and Arminda Guzman (Manuel); 3 brothers: Oscar Mata (Mary), Arturo Mata (Elvira), Jaime Mata: and many other loving relatives.
He would like to thank his Texas Oncology team, Dr. Sarhill and staff members: Roxanne, Mary Lou, Minerva, Silvia, and his home provider Maria Chavez, for their provided care and services. 
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. for family only, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for family and friends, followed by a rosary from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
