Obituary of Adrian Guillen

Adrian Guillen, 19, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017

Our Adrian truly was one of a kind. He was born to Arturo and Monica Guillen.  Adrian recently graduated from Los Fresnos High School in May 2017.  He was in the NJROTC and worked as a mechanic/truck driver with Codysur Group. He loved to cook and was well known for it.  His family gatherings were always his favorite because he got to do what he loved which was to spend time with family and enjoy cooking his favorite dishes, seafood fry and carne asadas.  Adrian was always a joy to be around with having such a great humor and always making everybody laugh.  He loved to dance and show off his moves at family gatherings and parties.  Adrian was also a great brother.  He loved to spend Saturdays with his sister Steph and would always look out for his brother Arturo.  Adrian also absolutely adored his parents and did everything for them making his family always a priority.  Adrian will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Monica Sanchez.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Arturo Guillen and Monica Sanchez Guillen; one brother, Arturo (Sam Sandoval) Guillen Jr; one sister, Stephanie G. (Daniel) Revuelta; paternal grandparents, Wencelao Guillen and Maria Guillen; Maternal grandfather, Juan Sanchez; Nephews, Alessandro Guillen and Malikai Rey Guillen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and will continue from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m., at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church located on 705 S. Longoria Street in Port Isabel, Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. All services will conclude.
