Obituary of Dora L. Sosa

Dora L. Sosa, 90, of San Benito, Texas, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in Harlingen, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Gilberto Sosa:  parents; Guillermo Lopez and Ignacia Lopez as well as her siblings; Guadalupe Lopez, Paulino Lopez and Lidia Guajardo.

Dora is survived by her two daughters; Gracie (Jaime) Hinojosa and Ida (Bill) Houseworth; two granddaughters Candice (Charlie) Flores and Kathy (Eddie) Santos; two great grandsons; Ethan and Ryan Flores as well as her two brothers Pete (Yolanda) Lopez and Benito (Maria) Lopez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 12 noon to 9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
