Obituary of Julian C. Delgado
Julian C. Delgado, 87, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He served in the U.S. Army for 16 years. He was a Vietnam veteran who traveled to many countries in his years of service.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years Anita L. Delgado, daughter Maria Norma Delgado his parents and his two brothers.
Left to cherish his memory are his five daughters; Mary Jane (Jerry) Bejaran, Delia D.(Alfonso) Hernandez, Rosie (Rene) Alatorre, Rosemary Delgado and Nelda (Homer) Gonzalez as well 17 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Luciano E. Chapa III, Lawrence E. Chapa, Antonio Morales Jr., Jerry D Perez Jr., Julian Hernandez and Brian Bejaran honorary pallbearers are Edmond Chapa, Amber Perez, Jerry Bejaran, Bobby Bejaran and Alfonso Hernandez Jr.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas with a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Rio Grande State Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas.
