Obituary of Apolonio M. Cantu

Apolonio M. Cantu, 67, of Port Isabel, Texas, born July 20, 1949 went home to our father on Friday, May 26, 2017.

He was preceded in death by Lucila C. Gonzalez, Pedro Cantu and Guillermo Cantu.

Polo is survived by his nephew Rolando Gonzalez brothers and sisters; Cresencia C.(Roberto) Rivera, Maximo (Irma) Cantu, Juan Cantu and Sofia C. (Jimmy) Ochoa, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 P.M., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. In accordance to his wishes cremation will follow.
