Daniel Sergio Cruz, 35, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on May 18, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sergio Arriola Quintero and his paternal grandfather, Alejandro Cruz Martinez.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Jose Alejandro (Erika) Cruz and Maria Antonia Cruz; brothers and sister: Alejandro (Elise) Cruz, Edgar (Genesis) Cruz, Ricardo (Cery) Chavez, Monica Cruz, and Alejandra Cruz; maternal grandmother, Guadalupe G. Arriola and paternal grandmother, Raquel Aguirre; as well as nieces and nephews.

A chapel service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Burial will follow at San Pedro Cemetery.
