Obituary of Eduardo Trevino Jr

Eduardo Trevino Jr, 36, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 in San Benito, Texas.

J.R., how he was known to family, was the life of the party. He loved spending time with his family and that reflected in his actions and words. His greatest passion was working out and bothering his younger brother Joe. He was a kind soul who was always willing to lend a hand, no questions asked. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Jose Angel Gonzalez, paternal grandfather Ramon Trevino, and his cousin Ruben Frank (Goldberg) Lopez.

Eduardo is survived by his parents, Eduardo Trevino Sr and Rosalinda Gonzalez Trevino; siblings: Norma linda ( Barney Degollado)  Trevino, Joe Trevino, and Ruben Lee ( Stephanie Avila) Trevino; his niece Ashely Degollado; his nephew Isaiah Degollado; and his great niece, Aaliyah Degollado. Also surviving is his Grandma Gonzalez, Grandma Trevino, special aunt Irma Mills, Gloria Gonzalez, Sandy Anzaldua, Gracie Barnett, Angie Gonzalez; as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 5 p.m. and a holy rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers: Ruben and Joe Trevino, Joe Allen Barnett, Isaiah Degollado, Juan and Jesse Gonzalez, Charlie Trevino, and Joey Lopez.
