Felix Sanchez, 84, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Harlingen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Herculano Sanchez and Agustina Garcia Sanchez: five sisters; Genoveva Pena, Amelia Martinez, Guadalupe Salinas, Esmerlinda Martinez and Lucinda S. Banda as well as one brother Alfredo Sanchez and a daughter in law Jessica Sanchez. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife: Olivia Villarreal Sanchez: children; Felix (Lucia) Sanchez Jr. Sylvia Mares, Rosario (Aaron Alaniz) Yzaquirre, David (Minerva) Sanchez, Carmen De La Garza, Beatrice Sanchez, Edward Sanchez, Elisa (Samuel) Soria and Adan Sanchez as well as his grandchildren; Ashley, Aracely, Lesley Sanchez, Deborah Suarez, Daniel Yzaquirre, Crystal Valladarez, Clemente III Yzaquirre, David Sanchez Jr., Samantha Sanchez, Eric Da La Garza, April De La Garza, Criselda, Clarissa Valle, Casandra, Eddie Sanchez, Tracey Garcia, Sammy Soria Jr., Brandon Sanchez. Greg Mares III, Steve Mares and Mark Iracheta. Also surviving him are his sisters, Elena Galvan, Bertha Martinez, Celia Garcia, Ofelia Ramirez, Angela Banda and one brother Catarino Sanchez. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M., at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, with burial following at Las Rucias Cemetery in Las Rucias, Texas.
