Cindy Rey Hajder passed away peacefully while vacationing with her dear husband Richard Hajder & close friends Bob Chase and Kenny Orgera. On Jan 8, 2017. Cindy was born in Hollywood, Calf. On Dec. 18th 1954 to Alex and Josie De Loera. She attended Reseda High in Reseda California. Cindy married Richard Hajder in Lake Tahoe, Nevada on July 26th 1987. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Alex & Josie De Loera. Survivors include her husband & love of her life Richard, her brother Alex De Loera, 2 daughters Cassandra Najara (Joseph) & Christina Esquiaquie (Michael) of California, 2 step daughters Sherry Erickson & Kimberley Peterson, 2 step sons Mark Hajder & Cynthia, Mike Kuehn Hajder & Jess, 14 grandchildren Joseph, Destiny, Josephina, Zac, Isabella, Charity, Caleb, Alex, Cecillia, Timothy, Payton, Mark Jr., Christina, and Ryan. 2 nieces JoAnn and Jaime & her many friends. Cindy enjoyed donating her time to the Merry Martini Mixers & the Margarita Mixers. She was a long time member of South Padre Island, Port Isabel, Laguna Vista Bunco group. She will be forever missed by the girls of this group. Cindy’s favorite pastime was traveling with her husband Richard to places such as Spain, Egypt, Germany, & several locations in Mexico. Cindy was a joy to everyone who knew her. She lit up every room she entered. Services will be held at the Chapel by the Sea, South Padre Island, January 28th 2017, at 2 pm. A celebration of life will follow at the American Legion, 819 S. Garcia St. Port Isabel, Tx. We invite everyone to attend to say their goodbye to our very very special Cindy.
