Josefina S. Liscano, 87 years old, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. Josefina lived in San Benito all her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Epimenio Liscano; her parents, Tranquilino and Sara Savala; and two sons, Emilio Liscano and Epimenio Liscano Jr. She is survived by her loving daughters: Yolanda (Enrique) Govea, Maria Elena (Benito) Conde, and Sylvia Martinez; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a talk at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Benito Memorial Park.
