Emilia Cortez Sifuentes, 86, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 in San Benito, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Jose (Kiko) Sifuentes Sr., children; Jose Sifuentes Jr., Maria Guadalupe Sifuentes Reyes, and Imelda Nieto. parents; Francisco and Gregoria Lopez Cortez and four brothers; Jose (Micho) Cortez Sr., Alberto Cortez, Cruz Cortez and Dionicio Cortez.
Emilia is survived by her children Maria Felicitas Sanchez, Luisa Gonzales, Jesse Sifuentes, Alberto Sifuentes and Carlos Sifuentes. As well as one sister Anita Cortez Garza 25 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
