Pablo Gallegos, 89, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Aurora Cortez Gallegos; his parents, as well as one brother and one sister. Pablo is survived by his wife, Rebecca Gallegos; children: Idalia ( Fito) Martinez, David (Ida) Gallegos, Israel (Leticia) Gallegos, Micheal (Angie) Gallegos and Norberto Gallegos; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild , five sisters and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow Mont Meta Memorial Park. Honored to be serving as pallbearers are Armando Galvan, Ian Gallegos, Gabe Gallegos, Mike Gallegos, Marc Gallegos, And Kyle Gallegos. Serving as Honorary pallbearer is Kalani Gallegos.
