San Benito, Texas- Jesus Padron 91, entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Solara Hospital in Harlingen, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ventura Padron; and his daughter, Maria Del Carmen Martinez.
He is survived by his wife, Maria N. Padron; his children: Myra Pena, Jose (Rosa) Padron, Jesus (Eloise) Padron Jr., Juan A. (Marsha)Padron, and Rosalinda Padron; his stepchildren: Edward(Ivette) Degley, Geneva Padron, Sergio Degley, and Paula (Rick) Villarreal; he is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito.
Mass of Resurrection will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal service will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
