Jesus Balboa, 72, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Luis Balboa; and several brothers. He is survived by his wife, Maria De Jesus Balboa; five children: Jose Baudelio (Abigail Marquez de Balboa) Balboa; Erik Rafael ( Janet Martinez de Balboa) Balboa; Ana Maria (Rey Belmontes) Balboa De Belmontes, and Jesus Alfonso Balboa; his mother, Maria Concepcion Zuniga De Balboa; 12 grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
