Rafael Alvarado, 71, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 in Los Fresnos, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his sisters; Olga Alvarado, Rosa Alvarado and Juana Alvarado. brothers; Sixto Alvarado and Joel Alvarado.
Rafael is survived by his wife of 30 years Margarita Salazar, children; Martin Alvarado, Juan Alvarado, Jose Faustino Alvarado, Gonzala Alvarado, Maria Concpcion y Elida Alvarado, Joel Alvarado, Ana Salazar, Elizabeth Salazar, Aracely Salazar and Jose De Jesus Salazar. As well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren., brothers and sisters; Ramiro (Norma) Alvarado, Jose Alfredo (Rosario) Alvarado and Maria (Rejino Ortiz) Alvarado.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 29, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito Texas. Interment will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel, Texas.
