Amado B. Hernandez, 92, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Feliciano Hernandez and Felicitas de la Rosa Bernal-Hernandez; two sons, Eliu and Arturo Hernandez; and several brothers and sisters.
Amado is survived by his wife of 64 years, Julia Hernandez; two daughters, Eunice (Oscar) Aguilera and Nohemi (Johnny) Holland; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a talk at 6:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
The chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Interment will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery in Port Isabel, Texas.
