Adan O. Zurita, 55, of Harlingen, Texas, entered into the Lord's Kingdom on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 in St. Martinville, Louisiana. Adan is a loved husband and father who was a self-employed electrician but a true craftsman at heart. He loved playing with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus R. Zurita; his brother, Juan Zurita; uncle, Mauro Osorio; his brother-in-law, James T. Wilson Jr. (Jay). Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Lorraine W. Zurita; his mother, Elvira O. Zurita; his son, Christopher Adam (Sara) Zurita; his daughter, Melissa Elaine (Ryan) Zurita Robbins; his brothers Jesus O. (Angie) Zurita and Inocente (Francis) Zurita; his sisters: Almira Ramirez, Maria (Carlos) Alvarez, and Theresa (Dusty) Smith; his sister-in-law, Tonya Zurita; He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Zachary, Skylar, Damon, Adrian, Ada, and a granddaughter on the way. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 10:00 am at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
