Obituary of Lydia Sanchez

Lydia Sanchez, 84, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and other family. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis Sanchez; and parents, Lino Guerrero and Ventura Conde. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Graciela Miranda, Luis (Benita) Sanchez, Jr., Enedelia (Jose) Claudio, Emerita (+Reynaldo) Miranda, and Lourdes (Joe) Silva; her companion, Margarito and his son, Roy; sisters: Modesta (Jose) Rodriguez and Nena Calderona; and three sisters-in-law, Alicia Sanchez, Hilda Garcia, and Severa Gonzalez; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 8:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
