Danae G. Medina, 41, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas. She was a lifelong residence of Port Isabel, Texas. After graduating from Port Isabel High School in 1992, she worked at Islands Resort Clothing for many years. She was also a member of the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, Texas. She was preceded in death by one sister, Roxyann Medina; maternal grandparents: Francisco and Enriqueta Gomez; paternal grandparents: Jose and Julia Medina. She is survived by her father Jose E. Medina and mother Francisca Gomez; one brother: Eulojio F. Medina; two sisters: Suzette Ruiz, Janelly Sevilla; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel, Texas.
