San Benito, TX - Tomas G. Trevino, 89, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Marcela Gonzales Trevino; brothers, Felix Gonzales and Daniel Gonzales; sisters, Aurora Gonzales, Elida Gonzales Ramos, and Juanita Gonzales Aranjo.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Antonia C. Trevino; his children, Rosalinda T. Mendoza, Tomas Trevino Jr., Mary Lou (Mario) Galvan, Manuel (Rosie) Trevino, Rodolfo (Janie) Trevino, Rene (Edith) Trevino, Eloy (Takina) Trevino, and Hector (Pamela) Trevino; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Ramon (Irma) Gonzalez and Gonzalo (Tammy) Gonzalez.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 12:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Directors.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Interment will follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
