Stanley Ernest Hulse III passed away on July 4, 2016 due to complications from cancer treatment. He was born in Belize, December 9, 1944 to Stanley Hulse II and Manira Awe Hulse. He worked the majority of his career with the Royal Bank of Canada, which allowed him to live in Belize, Cayman Islands, Guyana, Puerto Rico and St. Lucia, before he retired to Port Isabel, Texas to be among family. Bored with retirement, he went to work for South Padre Bank for several years before he retired again. He was a dedicated father and grandfather – never shy to voice his opinion or offer his two cents on any matter. He loved music, reading, soccer, fine rums, and of course, his family. He is preceded in death by his wife Marina Perera Hulse; and his parents, Stanley Hulse II and Manira Awe Hulse. Stanley is survived by his sons, Stan, Adrian, and Adam; and his grandchildren, Austin and Kaylee, as well as his brothers, Lester, Ronald and Andrew and his sister Alda. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel, Texas. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. up until the funeral mass at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
