Emelia M. Cavazos, 84, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Cavazos; son, Juan Ramos; parents: Jesus and Cecilia Rodriguez Montes; and great granddaughter, Lupita Loredo.
She is survived by her children: Rosa Loredo, Alicia Cavazos, Jose (Rocio) Cavazos, Ramon (Renee) Cavazos; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a talk at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
