Melissa Lee Martin Moreau, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 5th 2016 in Harlingen, Texas. She was born September 3rd 1949 in San Antonio, Texas to Della Gray & Matthew Hay Martin III, who preceded her in death. Melissa graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1968 & attended Texas State University in San Marcos. Melissa is survived by her husband Mark of Port Isabel, stepdaughters Katy & Jes, her granddaughter Kaileigh of South Padre Island, sisters; Martha Points, Fred (husband) & nieces Lauren & Mary Grace of Dallas, Tena O’Hara & Dan (husband) of Universal City, Carleen Garrick & Lynn (husband) of the Woodlands & cousin Anthony Migura of Dallas. Melissa was an avid voice for animal rights, a lover of all beaches & was always able to find the humor in life. She always enjoyed traveling & spent many years living in Costa Rica. Melissa’s spark for life was as contagious as her smile & it will live on through the joyous memories made with her family. A private celebration of life luncheon will be held Saturday July 23rd at Kranzler in South Padre Island.
