San Benito, TX- Manuela A. Leal, 84, born on June 16, 1927, entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 in San Benito, TX. Manuela was a great daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, wife, and friend. She was an unselfish woman who spread her love and generosity to everyone she met. She was an admirable humanitarian who made sure no one would go without. She loved gardening, sewing, and playing chalupa every Sunday. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Carmen Abrego. Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years, Leonel Agado Leal; her seven children: Gloria (Ismael) Flores, Elvira Cruz, Leonel (Nelda) Agado, Hermelinda (Ismael) Luna, Rebecca A. Infante, Genoveva A. (Toribio) Martinez, and Rosendo (Sulema) Agado. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 11:00 am at Our Lady Lourdes Catholic Church in La Paloma, TX. Committal service will follow at La Paloma Cemetery.
