Maria De Jesus Lopez, 89, of Lozano, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents: Jesus Lopez and Manuela Tejada Lopez; and her niece Manuela Ortega who cared for her for over 40 years. Also preceding her in death are her siblings: Marcelino, Juan, Victoriano, Cirildo, Donaciano, Lupe, Paula, Gregoria, Lucia, and Luisa. Left to cherish her memories are her ; great nieces and nephews whom she lived with for many years: Ernesto Ortega Jr., Ricardo Ortega, Norberto Ortega, Leticia Ortega, Minerva De La Rosa, Lucia Flores, Erica Cruz, and Ernesto Ortega Sr. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
